SHAKE ME - a poem

How bold are my words in the face of dissent?
Will I cower at threats or back down on my stance?
When the enemy strikes, will I welcome the chance
to speak loud and clear
with no inkling of fear -
of the praise and great might
of my King, Jesus Christ?

Shake the places I speak...
Better yet, God, shake ME!
Fill me up with your Spirit
so others will hear and
Believe.

"...after they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.
They were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly." Acts 4:31

"When the enemy strikes, will I welcome the chance to speak loud and clear with no inkling of fear - of the praise and great might of my King, Jesus Christ?" Feel convicted that when my enemies strike, I want to strike back just because I have grown weary of being smacked. What a great question to ponder in our walk of faith? What did Jesus do when confronted with enemies that He actually loved? It is a question I ask myself day and night and feel guilty because I have not always done the way He did and that is "Forgive as they do not know what they are doing." Thank you Wendysue for your boldness of the Gospel and the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I see the need for Jesus every single day and I pray I continue to need Him all the time. May God bless you and may God bless your ministry to the end of the day!

So touched by your promotional video, you give hope when hope is fading away. Had a bunch of unpleasant news from my home country of Tanzania today; unpleasant e-mails, unpleasant phone calls and conversations that reflect the fragility of life and the hopelessness of the human soul outside Christ. But watching your promo video gave me the courage I needed; it put joy in my heart, a smile on my face to think of the hope we have in Jesus. Now I can forget about the battered world we live in. I will praise His name every day in sadness and happiness.
