Do you ever ask yourself why you are here? What purpose you have?
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
God made us uniquely to bring himself joy and He has things He's prepared for us to do.
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another; as good stewards of God's varied grace" I Peter 4:10
We get to use our gifts to serve others and glorify God! And I so LOVE that we were ALL made to sing (whether you sound amazing or not). It's TRUE!
"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing! Psalm 100
Our God wouldn't tell us to make a joyful noise and come into His presence with singing if He really didn't want us to. As the Church we gather and pray and listen and SING to celebrate His blessings, our salvation, and our purpose and existence! I happen to enjoy music - AND I get to do it for pleasure and my job.
**Every Tuesday @ 9am CST, I go LIVE on Facebook to sing - www.facebook.com/wendysuemusic
**On weekends, I am at different congregations in the U.S. leading my faith family in worship and song - consequently blessing the music directors/musicians with a little reprieve - www.wendysue.com
**Other weekends, God lets me gather with women for a conference, convention or retreat to teach, share scripture, laugh, cry and celebrate life as sisters in Christ - https://wendysue.com/women-s
"Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!" Psalm 100
Let's enter His courts with praise. Take time to thankfully come into His presence each day, and join me in refusing to get so distracted with the things of this life (health struggles, financial issues, entertainment, peer pressure, demanding jobs, materialism) that I forget to praise, forget my God, or forget that He put me here on purpose - for a purpose.
"For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs." Zephaniah 3:17
I'm here. Glad to be doing life with YOU - and gratefully and vocally being my BOLD!
